For the altar and pulpit, I drew inspiration from Psalm 68/55-7, which says: “...the wings of the dove are covered with silver, and its feathers shine with gold...”
The fresco behind the altar presented a technical challenge because it was exposed to corrosion caused by the heating vents. It was therefore necessary to produce it using the same process as the Formica panels. It is inspired by the Resurrection as envisioned by Ezekiel: “He tells me: Prophesy to the Spirit, prophesy, son of man, and say to the Spirit: Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Come, Spirit, from the four winds; breathe upon these dead people and let them live...”
